2022 has been a big one for me personally, between our wedding, building our first home, advancing my studies and training, and continually learning how to pivot and grow a small business…it’s been a lot, and the one thing that’s been a constant, and a real source of joy for me, has been coaching and having the space to share my passion with you all.
Choosing to focus on yourself, considering what it is you want for your life, and committing to making new choices that reflect this, isn’t easy – it takes courage, persistence, and vulnerability.
Therefore, I wanted to take this time to honour your resiliency and willingness to dive deeper into the world of you - whether you’ve embarked on a coaching journey with me, or if you’ve been reading posts and applying what you’ve learnt in your own time.
I honour your capacity to continue to grow and change. I honour your process with all its ebbs and flows. I honour your stories – past and present. And most of all I honour your innate worthiness and goodness.
In sharing this, I invite you to also take this moment to acknowledge the shifts you’ve made - what are you most proud of, what have you been working on, what have been your biggest challenges, and most of all what have you discovered and learnt about yourself along the way? 💛

Saw this pop up in my feed the other day and thought it was a beautiful reminder for our Wednesday. We can give so much of ourselves to our work, our partners, children, friends, family… often falling into the habit of outsourcing our sense of accomplishment and worth in things that exist outside of us.
So, my invitation for you is to turn your attention inward this week - be your own muse, love your own skin, validate your own existence.
What does it feel like to focus on you first for a bit? What does it feel like to be your first and foremost supporter? How differently would you view your actions if it was only your validation and approval that mattered?

Setting and having boundaries isn’t about rigidity, hard-and-fast rules, or shutting people out, they are what allow you to love and respect yourself and others simultaneously.
Having boundaries is what allows you to show up for yourself and others in the way that feels good for you, that brings out the best of you, and helps align your actions with your values. Your boundaries are also what supports you in honouring your capacity, and are key in discerning what does or doesn’t work for you.
I’m putting this reminder here because your holiday break is the perfect time to reflect on and practice some boundaries, and are a key addition to your wellness routines during this time. 💛 These examples show what different boundaries can sound like around common topics we encounter - feel free to print them out, mix and match them to suit your needs, re-write them to sound more like you, or pass them on to someone you feel would benefit from this at the moment.

Hello lovely I wanted to pop in here in these final weeks leading up to Christmas to say have a really nice break if it’s possible for you during this time. Really allow yourself time to do what feeds your soul (even if it’s for an hour at the end of a work shift, or half a day here and there).
It’s easy to get swept up in everybody else’s activities during this time, or to fall into patterns that come easy to you, because you haven’t given yourself the time or space to consider what else it could look like.
👉 So that’s my invitation for you – what do you want to experience these holidays? Where do you want to direct your time and energy heading into Christmas? What would feel good for you?
When you sit with these questions, what feelings come up for? Really let them land.
Now get a little more curious, what would it look like to honour these feelings – even just 5%?
For me, what feels good is making food to share with people. playing with fun recipes makes me feel warm and really centred during this time. To honour this (just 5%), I carve out time the day before Christmas, where I put on Christmas tunes, make myself a festive beverage, and spend time in my kitchen. It’s bliss and it feeds my soul.

👉 Save it as a screensaver, a photo in your album, print it out and stick it up somewhere you can refer to easily, and feel free to pass these on to anyone you feel might need a little more support this week.

This week there has been a lot of conversation around capacity, and how when we feel a little low/tired/stretched or maybe life is throwing you some unexpected curve balls, our capacity to manage everything can also feel low.
And this is 100% ok.
It’s natural when we’re giving more energy to something in life, that we feel we have less to give to other areas, and rather than pushing ourselves or beating ourselves up around ‘how we’re not managing it all’, it’s about partnering with ourselves. Asking:
- what do I need right now that’s going to support me whilst I’m working with limited capacity?
- What do I need to honour here?
🫧 This is my invitation for you as we approach the weekend. I invite you to take a moment to just be for a while. Take a nourishing breath out and when you’re ready allow yourself to breath slowly in and out as the curtain billows. Watch it for as long as you need.
Simply take this moment to sit with yourself. Let the breath land. And when you’re ready ask yourself ‘What am I needing to better support me right now?’

If your body was your child, how differently would you treat it?
This is a question I pose to my clients, because it’s so easy to take your body for granted. It’s easy to simply expect it to ‘work’ for you, to keep showing up and pulling you through, to keep loving you, regardless of what you think about it or do to it.
Would you push your child to the point of exhaustion every day when they’re already tired?
Would you….
Poke and squeeze them?
Say horrible, self-degrading things to them?
Allow them to sit all day without any form of movement?
Fill them up on foods that aren’t nutritious and ‘healthy’?
Tell them off for outgrowing their clothes as they grow older?
Find them unlovable because they look different to their peers?
Thinking of my body as someone I’m in a loving relationship with, and that I care for, helped me so much in shifting my perspective around accepting my body and creating the habits that truly serve me.
💛 So that’s my invitation for you – if you were to think of your body like your own child, how would you show up for it? What would you do differently?

I love this poem, as it reminds me of what’s possible when women are open to accepting one another, to hearing each other’s stories, to getting behind each other’s journeys, and holding more space for each of us to be fully seen in our own version of power.
Because I’ve been on both ends of the equation where the need to feel seen as worthy, capable, or enough meant one woman was pitched against the other. It didn’t feel good. I find women tend to be hardest on each other because as Joy Sullivan highlights – it’s just love knocked off balance. We tend to look for our (and others) sense of safety, love, and connection by using criticism, comparison, and competition…but what could be possible if we transformed this fierce criticism and competition against each other, into fierce camaraderie? What would that look like in our day-day lives?
👉 So, that’s my invitation for you this week:
- How can you praise the women in your life more? What would it look like to lift them up and support them?
- What difference do you feel this would make in your life, and the life of the women around you?
